Beauty Favourites #2

Brows and moisturising. Two words that sums up this beauty favourites post. Constant need for moisturisation. My aim for the past few weeks since winter has really started to kick in.

Then of course, the brows. Lately, I find that I've been putting much emphasis on my brows. Not that I make it bold, more like putting much care to make sure its nice. Since I'm growing it out, I try not to overpluck (threading here is expensive, better do it back in Malaysia instead) and try my best to keep it from being unruly.

Moisturisation :

Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask
It's winter and having dry skin is inevitable, for me at least. To help with my dry skin, I've been using this mask at least once a week (on top of using rosehip oil). This helps to give an extra boost of moisture. I skip my night routine and just slap this on. The next morning, after cleansing it off, my skin would be smooth and supple. Don't worry. It's not exactly like one of those thick icky mask. It just feels like putting on a night cream. It absorbs overnight. The next day, there is barely any residue left on my skin.

Lucas Paw Paw Ointment
Moving on to my lips, this little red tube is constantly with me. I slather it on my lips like nobody's business. This ointment is a multi-purpose ointment. Other than my lips, I also use it on cuts or any dry patches on my body. My husband is constantly using it as well. In fact, he even bought a back up without me telling him to. A handy ointment to have around the house.

Nivea In-Shower Body Lotion
One thing I find cumbersome is putting on lotion. Especially in the winter. I don't know about you guys, but for me after a nice, long, hot shower, I like to be able to immediately wear my clothes. I don't wanna be freezing half naked while I slap on lotion on every crevices of my body! This help solve that problem. I would still be in my nice, long, hot shower when I apply the Nivea lotion on my body. Then I rinse off. Voila!

The Brow :

In2It Brow Kit
Ok, Ok I probably should get a new one. That one is worst for wear, but I love it!. I bought eyebrow pencils a couple of times and I always end up using this again. I tried looking for a drugstore brand for eyebrow powders, but its just a bit too light for me. I might just have to look for one in Malaysia (add to my long to do list).

Ecotools Brow Brush & Revlon Spoolie
I've been using this Ecotools brush for my brows for ages and I love it. It's just the perfect size for my brows. And the spoolie? It does its job. Nothing much to say about it.

NYX Eyebrow Shaper
Before purchasing this NYX Eyebrow Shaper, I would only just use the In2It powder. Even though its an additional step to my brow routine, I love this product. Handy from when I'm going out from day to night. It helps to keep my unruly eyebrow hairs in place.

Tell me, what's your beauty favourites?
