Weekend Wardrobe #27 : The Foreshore

(The tree looked so bare and cold. And yet, it had these vibrant flowers blossoming. Pretty!)
Went down to The Foreshore to enjoy the scenery and do a little bit of a 'photo session'. This, ladies and gentleman, are one of the many reasons my husband and I love Newcastle. We get to enjoy the beach and the scenery, every single day.

The outfit for this post is all about the fail safe combination of chambray and leather. Since chambray is a classic staple piece, it practically goes with everything. Pairing it with leather trouser, instead of black skinnies, gives it an extra edge. Plus, I want to get a lot of wear for my leather trousers during this cold season. Come summer, it would be pushed to the back of my closet.

Accessories are kept simple and minimal as I always do. The coat? I am still crazy over it! And I loved how adding the coat played up the shades of blue.
