My favourite type of dress for a casual daywear is the shift dress. The relaxed cut of the dress helps conceal any food bump of the day and it's just comfortable to go about in it.

This particular shift dress is a denim shift dress. Now, when you think of denim, I'm pretty sure you would be thinking of a thick and heavy material. This dress, however, is lightweight. I loved that this dress had longer sleeves, even though I usually just roll it up for a much more casual vibe. An added bonus was the 2 pockets on the front which was fully functional!
I paired the dress with white sandals and I loved the contrasting colours. These sandals are Birkenstock-inspired. I was using my black Birkenstocks too much that I decided to get another pair of similar sandals. I was contemplating between this and the actual Birkenstock but I decided to go for the cheaper one. I have to say it isn't as comfortable as a Birkenstock. The flatbed is harder and the cut is a bit narrow. But overall, I'm really liking it. I have a feeling this pair of sandals would show up often in my outfit posts. You have been warned!
