My outfit choice for the day was purely based on the weather. I looked out the window, saw grey skies and decided, to hell with it, I'm going to wear my white jeans just to brighten things up a bit.

My love for anything striped is rekindled with this outfit. I love how this top has a navy base with white stripes. Most of my other striped top are the other way around. I did not add any necklaces because I feel that it would have been too overwhelming.
I also decided to do a little bit of pattern mixing. I think adding a patterned scarf is one of the subtler ways of pattern mixing. It would have been more statement-making if the scarf was a navy colour or a contrasting colour altogether.
