This outfit could have passed off as a pair of co-ordinates but instead, I just got lucky that I had a top that matched well with this skirt.

I also love how the skirt had a rib knit texture while the top had cut out laser prints on it. I think those patterns played off against each other well. I kept the rest simple with black items. If you aren't too confident with mixing or matching colours, I think going top to bottom in one colour is the way to go!
