I wanted to
start off this post with like a cool quote of some sort. Hahaha, yessss, I can
be shameless at times. Of course, I can't really think of any from the top of
my head that relates to fashion and black so, google it was. :P
One quote by Yohji Yamamoto stood out to me. "Black is modest and
arrogant at the same time. Black is lazy and easy - but mysterious. But above
all black says this: I don't bother you - don't bother me."
The first part of that quote resonated with me. Granted my outfit wasn't all black but when deciding the pieces to match the t-shirt, I decided to take the lazy and easy route by pairing it all with black items. Like Yamamoto said, it may be lazy and easy but there is still something about black that make you look put together.
My outfit may not be avant garde but it is effortless.
