Gold Hoops

The first thing I grabbed when I was trying to decide my outfit today was these pair of gold hoops. The rest was chosen to complement it.

This outfit is such a simple and minimal outfit. The addition of a chunky pair of blinged out statement earrings creates such a contrast. There should be cohesiveness when putting an outfit together. In this case, adding a contrasting item to the outfit somehow pulls it all together while making it distinctively different.

Untucked

I heard untucking your top is the thing to do right now. With a white button down, I prefer to do a front tuck or a side tuck but I thought this time around I'll give the untuck trend a try.

To be honest, I'm a bit on the fence with the look. It might have been that the white button down that I was wearing did not quite fit the untuck trend. It would be better with a top that has a softer material so that there's a flow to the way the fabric falls. This top has a stiffer material and a structured design that the untuck trend did not go well with it.

Ah well, fashion is all about experimenting. Lesson learnt :)

June Haul 2015

I haven't done a haul in ages because I haven't been shopping, as you know. But come June I made a few purchases that I've been mulling over for 2 months. Weekend Wardrobe 2015 #28 : Gazelle

I might have cheated a just a wee bit during my shopping ban. Honestly though, I did not expect these pair of shoes to arrive so soon. I was expecting it in the first week of May. Talk about great delivery service.
